With the continuous expansion of the scale of the construction industry, the number of construction companies is raising year by year. In recent years, the competitive construction companies continue to increase its scale by reorganization and expansion, which results that the amount of the project under construction has continued to increase. And at present, a lot of enterprises are facing the condition of multi-project management. Under the new surroundings, there are more difficult problems during the multi-project management. In the mode of multi-project management, these projects are sharing a whole resource library, which is prone to competition for resources. Consequently from the perspective of corporate strategy that how to manage and integrate these multiple simultaneous projects within the organization and how to figure out the issues caused by construction enterprises project management inefficiencies in resource allocation are more urgent problems currently faced by the construction enterprises.This paper starts from the issue of the construction enterprises multi-project resources management, explores and builds a model with a total amount of project losses caused by schedule delays. After analyzing the above model, this paper classifies it as a nonlinear constrained optimization problem. Furthermore, the article puts forward the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve it. This paper treats the constraint conditions with penalty functions and then combined it with the basic particle swarm optimization algorithm to build a new algorithm. Next the multi-project resource scheduling model is applied to a specific example and then the paper solves it with the modified particle swarm optimization and the basic particle swarm optimization respectively. The comparative datas display that the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm has a better result to solve the multi-project resources scheduling problem.This article abstracts the construction enterprises multi-project resources scheduling problem into the nonlinear constrained optimization problem, and uses the mentioned improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve it, which can make the construction enterprises use limited resources reasonably and efficiently. In addition, that contributes to realize the optimization of resource distribution and maximize business efficiency.
