Aquaculture industry is an important part of national economy. With the changing of market environment and increasing competition between businesses, the companies constantly gain the profit and competitive advantage by enhancing management and transforming productive modes. Inventory management as a part of the enterprise daily business activities, it has been taken seriously. Aquatic raw material is the basic material resources of aquatic products, the inventory safety of raw material act a vital role to the normal production activities of enterprise.Based on aquatic product processing industry as the background, the paper researches the aquatic raw material inventory control methods and strategies. Differs from the traditional manufacturing industry, the raw material inventory control of aquaculture industry have the characteristics of seasonal supply and easy perishable. The seasonal supply of raw material depends on its own growth character and climate environment, and it will affect the price and available supply of raw material. Excess or shortage of inventory, irrational purchase will bring unnecessary waste to enterprises. On the other hand, the perishable character of aquatic raw material makes the enterprise pay more attention to the inventory time. Longer storage will affect the quality of raw material; thereby cause the intangible losses of value. These two characteristics bring the new challenge to the inventory management of aquaculture, so it has vital significance to make a reasonable seasonal inventory stock strategy.Combined with the feature of seasonal supply of aquatic raw material, the inventory impact factors and costs had been studied, and presented several feasible inventory control strategies. At the same time, with the character of perishable, the metamorphic form and metamorphic loss of aquatic raw material has been discussed in this paper. And the periodic metamorphism and periodic measure of value loss has been studied.For seasonal supply and perishable aquatic raw material, the paper established two raw material inventory control models, one was the demand identified and another was random demand. It used one year as inventory planning cycle in the model, and in the case of seasonal supply constraints, three kinds of inventory situations in each inventory cycle has been considered, the inventory was not out of stock, inventory parts out of stock and inventory was completely out of stock. In this case made every stage of the stock quantity and minimized all kinds of costs all the year round. The type of determined demand model was suitable for the smooth situation, and the introduction of Poisson distribution stochastic model can reflect the actual production, but it is difficult to solve.On this basis, the paper proposed to use the improved double particle swarm algorithm to solve the model and simulation respectively. For seasonal supply of raw material inventory control models, it also described the algorithm process and analyzed the key steps of the algorithm. The improved double particle swam algorithm using two different particle flight modes, which improved the ability of global optimization and has the characteristics of fast convergence speed.In addition, the paper conducted a case study for the supply of seasonal fluctuations in raw material inventory control models. Determined demand inventory model has the situation of general seasonal supply and supply in advance and later, but the experiments showed the improved double particle swarm algorithm also can find the optimal solutions and strategies. At the same time, this paper also carried a simulation for the stochastic inventory model with demand of Poisson distribution; the results proved that the expectation of Poisson distribution instead of the demand has consistent results.
