Establishing a technology innovation system characterized by enterprises as the main body,market as the guidance, the combination of industry and university is the key to implementindependent innovation strategy and promote the construction of national innovation system.Apparently, the cooperation of industry and university is viewed as the national innovation strategyand Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (ITISA) will take on more responsibility inthe national industrial innovation activities. ITISA is the critical carrier of national innovationsystem, which plays an irreplaceable role in promoting national technological innovation. Therefore,ensuring efficient operation of the alliance and promoting excellent output of ITISA is meaningfulpractically. As inevitable phenomenon in the operation process of ITISA, conflict produced bymany factors, shows different levels in different stage. Apparently, the ITISA conflict have greatinfluence on alliance enterprise, however, not all of the conflict will hinder the ITISA enterprise’sperformance. Therefore, exploring ITISA conflict type and its influential factors, and the influencethat ITISA conflict has on ITISA enterprise innovation performance is good for the ITISA managerto efficiently control alliance conflict and promote the best performance of ITISA enterprise.This paper firstly learned related papers both domestic and foreign about the influential factorsof ITISA, ITISA conflict type and ITISA enterprise innovation performance, and listed keyindicators of these3variables. Then the author constructed a system dynamic model of relationshipbetween ITISA alliance conflict and enterprise innovation performance, including conflict factors.After completing the model, we further simulated it. To verify the simulation results, this paperstudied the relationships among ITISA conflict factors, ITISA conflict type and enterpriseinnovation performance and proposed hypothesis about the mutual impact among the threevariables. In the stage of empirical study, through the method of questionnaire the author collected228ITISA enterprises data in Zhejiang province, and finally got117effective data after furtherfiltration. At the beginning, this paper implemented reliability and validity analysis on the datacollected by using SPSS18.0and the results showed that the sample data has good reliability andvalidity. So the data can be used for further correlation and regression analysis. Secondly, the paperexplored the relationship between influential factors of ITISA conflict and ITISA conflict types andthe relationship between ITISA conflict types and ITISA enterprise innovation performance usingthe method of Pearson correlation analysis. Then we implemented regression analysis to get theinfluential degree. At last, the mediation effect on the relationship between influential factors ofITISA conflict and ITISA enterprise innovation performance was discussed. Through statistical analysis this paper get the following results:(1) Influential factors of ITISAconflict can be divided into two parts, operation and cultural variables; there are three differenttypes of ITISA conflict, named the ITISA process conflict, task conflict and relationship conflict;The five enterprise performance indicators can be represented by the variable named ITISAenterprise innovation performance.(2) In the different stages of alliance operation, the influentialfactors of ITISA conflict variable would have different influence on different ITISA conflict types.Differential goals of the alliance members would strengthen ITISA task conflict and processconflict but have little influence on relationship conflict. Unbalanced resource input, imperfectmechanisms of information communication and sharing would strengthen ITISA task conflict,process conflict and relationship conflict. Unfair assessment of alliance performance anddistribution of benefits would contribute to intensify ITISA process conflict and relationshipconflict but have little influence on task conflict. However, homogeneous culture could reduceITISA task conflict and process conflict while the hypothesis of relationship between homogeneousculture and relationship conflict has not been validated by empirical data.(3) ITISA conflict typehas different impacts on ITISA enterprise performance: on the whole,process conflict andrelationship conflict are negatively related to enterprise’s innovation performance while taskconflict tends to have positive influences on enterprise’s innovation performance.(4) Differenttypes of alliance conflict have different mediation effect. ITISA process conflict and relationshipconflict tend to have completely mediation effect on the relationship between operating variablesand ITISA enterprise innovation performance, while ITISA process conflict tend to have partlyintermediation effect on the relationship between cultural variables and ITISA enterprise innovationperformance and ITISA relationship conflict have no mediation effect on the relationship betweencultural variables and ITISA enterprise innovation performance. When it comes to ITISA taskconflict, it has partly mediation effect on the relationship between influential factors of ITISAconflict and ITISA enterprise innovation performance.According to the research findings above, this paper presented problems should be noticed andcountermeasures to tackle with influential factors of ITISA conflict and different ITISA conflicttype by the ITISA operation stage. At the end of the article, the author pointed out limitations of thisstudy, the direction of follow-up study.
