OVRP Cold Chain Logistics Of Agricultural Products

With the construction of a well-off society,people’s income has been increased,also accelerating the pace of life. At the same time, the demand for cold chain productsare also growing.At present China’s food safety problems occur frequently, whichmakes people require a higher quality of cold chain food.Cold chain logistics and distribution activities in modern society is facingenormous challenges,such as wider ranger of distribution, traffic congestion, higerlaber cost and facilities cost.Developing a reasonable vehicle distribution programe ofcold chain, can reduce cost,and ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products.Research currently on cold chain logistics distribution vehicle routing problem, mostly on the closed-loop vehicle routing problem research which considers that thevehicles will return to the original distribution centre, after distribution. Actually,especially under the increasingly commom situation of logistics outsourcing,delivery vehicles often do not need to return to the distribution center. On the otherhand, the characcteristics of perishable fresh produce with quality products are moresensitive to the time factor, the energy consumption of refrigerated trucks accumulatedover time and outside temperature changes, customers have time windows for delivry.Based on cold chain and open vehicle routing problem, the article of this paperbuild relevant cost function, which include cargo damage cost due to products’spoilage,the cost of consumption of refrigeration equipment when the distribution ofenergy, the cost of punishment in violation of time widows, and fixed cost, andtransportation cost. Design genetic algorithm to solve the model.Conclusions of this paper can help distributors make decision.
