| With the accelerating process of urbanization in China, more and more people from the countryside into the cities, and urban vehicle ownership is increasing, this has brought a lot of pressure for the originally crowded urban traffic system. The experience of developed countries show that development of urban public transport is the most effective solution to solve traffic congestion problems. Developing urban public transport need to increase the level of investment to solve the contradiction between supply and demand, improving the level of service for urban public transport, so that could guide residents transfer the way to travel from private to public, it has become the consensus of priority to public transportation development.It is the key to solve the funding problem for increasing the level of investment in the construction of urban public transport. However, public transport enterprises generally appear policy loss, because the welfare of urban public transport, they can’t obtain funds through the traditional financing channels. Seeking sustainable financing model must be addressed for development of urban public transport. This thesis introduce supply chain finance to public transport financing, put forward financing strategy through standing in public transport enterprises’perspective. The main work of this thesis is as follows:Initially, analyzing the dilemma of public transport enterprises’financing systematically, proposing that government should build compensation mechanism to guarantee reasonable return on investment of public transport industry, public transport enterprises should broaden financing channels and enhance profitability.Furthermore, this thesis matches the model of public transport travel demand based on the data of passenger number and bus number between2011and2013from Chengdu Public Transport Group Corporation. On the basis of this model, considering public transport enterprises’economic benefits and social benefits, this thesis establishes the capacity decision model of the public transport enterprises and applies numerical analysis.In addition, this thesis puts forward vehicle suppliers could provide loan guarantee and finance lease for public transport enterprises and discusses the realization condition of this two kinds of financing strategy respectively. Numerical analysis’s results show this financing strategy can enhance the two sides" benefits.Last but not least, this thesis establishes supply chain alliance for vehicle financing lease. Supply chain alliance are consists of public transport enterprises and vehicle supplier. This thesis analyzes the case of Chengtong Financing Lease Company that will set up by Chengdu Public Transport Group Corporation, automobile manufacturers, etc. The operation, of the scheme is better. Economic estimates participants will achieve "win-win".This thesis combines the theory and practical cases, integrated uses public economics, statistics, supply chain finance and operational research, puts forward financing strategy to solve the purchase vehicle funds problem. Public transport enterprises and supplier can regard the case as financing scheme to popularize. |
