International Services Trade Competitiveness In Hebei Province

With the progress of science and technology, the adjustment of industrial structure andthe development of economic globalization, since the1980s, the international service tradedevelopment momentum, its developing speed is faster than trade in goods. The status ofservice trade in the economic development is strengthen continuously, so research how toimprove the competitiveness of service trade level in Hebei province undoubtedly hasimportant practical significance.In this paper,Combining with the actual situation in Hebei province, using thecompetitiveness of service trade measures (such as service trade openness, dominantcomparative advantage) to the empirical analysis, and on the basis of a large amount of data,based on porter’s "diamond model", select the corresponding indicators, further analyzing themain factors of influencing the international service trade competitiveness in Hebei province.The first part of the article mainly introduces the writing background, purpose andsignificance of this paper, and the literature at home and abroad are briefly summarized,introduing the research ideas and methods, etc. The second part introduce the concepts andtheir competitiveness in international service trade competitive measure, including theinternational trade in services and competitiveness definition, classification and characteristicsof trade in services, etc. In the third part, through the way such as books, Internet, newspapers,on the basis of a large amount of data, service industry and service trade development presentsituation of hebei province are described in the system using charts and intuitive. Servicetrade competitiveness of Hebei province by empirical analysis. Through the analysis ofservice trade openness, international market share, dominant comparative advantage index,comparaing Hebei with China, come to the conclusion that Hebei province service tradecompetitiveness is weak. The fourth part, based on porter’s "diamond model", analyzing thefactors affecting the competitiveness of service trade in Hebei province, including grossdomestic product (GDP) in Hebei province, foreign direct investment, the whole society fixedassets investment and other factors. The fifth part is mainly on the basis of the above analysiscontent, and put forward policy recommendations to increase the competition ability ofinternational trade in services in Hebei province,expecting to play a promoting role in the development of international service trade in our province.
