Study On Site Selection Of Pearl River Delta Agricultural Products Logistics Park

Agricultural product logistics lays significant foundation for the construction of new socialist countryside in China, which is an inevitable requirement of agricultural industrialization and important means to improve the income of farmers and accelerate the urbanization process, and is also an important part to change the economic structure of urban and rural dual industry. In recent years, as Chinese agriculture develops fast, agricultural products have continued to enlarge the potential demand for logistics. As logistics development has a certain foundation for agricultural products, the quality of transactions subject are improved in logistics process, arid agricultural products logistics channels have been gradually diversified. Agricultural products logistics park is the space that integrates the agricultural product logistics activities of enterprises and logistics facilities, which is becoming a strong driving force to promote the development of logistics industry.As one of the most economically developed and most densely populated areas in China, Pearl River Delta area has a large demand of agricultural products. The construction of agricultural product logistics park in Pearl River Delta will promote the development of agricultural products logistics, and take full advantage of agricultural product logistics industrial cluster effect, and facilitate the process of agricultural modernization, and increase the farmer income in the region, and also play a vital role in boosting regional economic growth. This essay proposes to integrate agricultural logistics companies and solve a series of problems in agricultural product logistics through the establishment of agricultural product logistics park in Pearl River Delta. A reasonable location of the logistics parks for agricultural products has a direct impact on the construction operations and management cost, as well as traffic carrying capacity and the future development of logistics parks.It also can reduce logistics costs for agricultural products, and improve the efficiency of agricultural logistics to achieve the integration of agricultural logistics resources, and also avoid duplication of logistics facilities.Firstly, based on a fully research on logistics park and its location layout from home and abroad, this paper depicts the logistics park and the related concept and theory of agricultural products logistics park. Secondly, it studies the current situation of agriculture and agricultural logistics in the Pearl River Delta area, and finds out the problems of agricultural products logistics. Also, it forecasts the agricultural products logistics demand, and analyzes the influence factors of agricultural product logistics park construction and illustrates the necessity to construct the agricultural products logistics park. Thirdly, this article introduces the location of the logistics park layout theory and method of location planning, and establishes the location planning model. Finally, the paper uses genetic algorithm to solve the case, and obtains the optimal layout plan of site selection of agricultural products logistics parks in Pearl River Delta area. At last, the article makes a summary and proposes the further research direction.
