The growth and development of any biological character have a different time and spatial characteristic. The character changed with time and number of factors is called dynamics trait. From a biological point of view, phenotypic change of character may be related to different genes expressed in different time, in other words, it means the dynamics trait is controlled by genes which genetic effects is changed over time. Because of the universality and the importance of dynamic trait it is widely used by animal and plant genetic breeding researchers. Studying Gene mapping and genetic effect can raise our awareness and understanding of the dynamic trait of genetic structure. According to the characteristics of the dynamic trait genetic analysis and the research progress of the common quantitative character gene mapping, the research method of dynamic trait gene mapping and using the special group for gene loci mapping have certain theoretical and practical value. The new method in this article, nests the time-dependent Chebyshev polynomi-als in the every genetic effect of genetic model, which describes the effects of QTL and marker on dynamic trait, We use the composite interval mapping method to map the dynamic trait gene, then establish the statistical model of dynamic trait interval mapping. In the article, with the example of F2population, it describes the theory of dynamic trait composite interval mapping, and we adopt the EM algorith-m to estimate the parameters in the model. To compare the effect of gene mapping by the Chebyshev polynomials and Legendre polynomials method, the experimental results show that Chebyshev polynomials method priposed in article is better than the existing method.
