Nam Yong copper mineral deposit is located at northwest of Phongsaly Province, which is at south of Simao-Cenozoic depression in Phitsanulok. Metallogenic belt, and it belong to Lanpin-Simao-Phongsali copper, lead, zinc mineralization belt. Nam Yong copper mineral deposit is a deposition-reformed in epithermal deposits.This paper which is based on the results of previous studies and geological survey stress on tectonic evolution, geological characteristics of the deposit, ore-controlling role of tectonic and analyze mineralization Law and prospecting mark.Study area that different geological history stages has undergone multiple tectonic evolution has numerous of block with complex geological structure features. A whole has experienced two important stages of the tectonic evolution:Late Paleozoic-Middle Triassic phase plate movement and Late Triassic-the Cenozoic evolution stage.Nam Yong copper mineral deposit is outputted as veins, bedded, lenticular along cataclasites-tectonic breccia zone, control by stratigraphic position and lithology of Jingxing group of Lower Cretaceous. Combining of copper deposit of Lanping-Simao Basin, this paper consider Nam Yong copper mineral deposit is controlled by stratigraphic position, lithology, structure. And the structure is play the most important role.This area has kinds of folds, faults, jointed which is developed at different stage and express numeral kinematics, mechanical characteristics. Northeast and northwest is the main direction of fracture, and the northeast is the ore-controlling structure. Analyzing the stress and field surveys, structural characteristics and fracture characteristics of sport, this paper consider that the northeast faults is experienced a pressure-shear-tenso two stages.Integrated with structural stress analysis, this paper make a result of ore-controlling role of tectonic is that NE trending faults is important to guide the construction and mine host structures, NNW-trending fault zone as the mineralization tectonic, from Tectonic setting, regional geological structure, lithology, faults and jointed. From the conclusion before, get the model of ore-controlling structure.
