Shenvsi block locate in the south of cangzhou City, hebei province and its structure locate in between cangxian and kongdian structures. It is a large nose structure. there are thicker reservoir and more larger oil reserves in EK2of shenvsi. it is the wider and stabler region with exploration and development. According to the research of the geological characteristics of the gas reservoir in study area, the structures and faults are checked; the EK2is divided into Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ sublayer. In this paper, using the related theory of petroleum geology as a guide, reservoir characteristic of sedimentary micro-facies,petrology, diagenesis, physical property of Ek2reservoir in shenvsi region are studied, classificated and evaluated, then therelations between reservoir and the oil-gas was conclued.Being guided by sequence stratigraghical theories,study aims to determine the regional sequence boundary of Ek2, based on comprehensive elaboration on semic and logging data.kongerduan was divided into2Grade IV sequence and9~18GradeV sequence.According to comprehensive analysis from the core, logging,3d seismic data and regional geological background, it was proved that there were the deltafacies, lacustrine facies, turbidite fan facies in EK2sedimentary period.Basing on core observation, the rock types in the reservoir are mainly debris-feldspar and feldspar sandstone.The pore types mainly consist of intergranular pores and moldic pore.and the average porosity is16.7%and the average permeability is30.3mD; lower limit of porosity in the reservoir is7.5%. reservoir is controlled by diagenesis, lithology and fault.In this paper, using the flow unit index method and data and image analysis, Ek2reservoir can be divided into four categories. The frist type reservoir is best, porosity is22.7%~28.5%, the permeability is276.8mD~409.3mD. The porosity of third reservoir is11.3%~18.6%and the permeability is15.0mD~63.6mD, it is mainly distributed in delta front faces, and this kind of reservoir is the most widely distributed.
