Buried hill reservoir is one of the important reservoir types in China. Because of the complex geologic configuration and the deep burial depth, as well as the random reflection event inside, however, buried hills are not easily for people to study and prospect for. Therefore, researching the characteristics of the structure, fracture development and seismic response thoroughly has significance to deepen the buried hill reservoir exploration and find the new, hidden ones. This thesis is researched on Longhuzhuang buried hill of Baxian depression. Several methods, such as the precise horizon calibration, the fine structureinterpretation and seismic attribute analysis, are used to study the structure, the seismic response and the attributes distributionfeature of buried hill.Longhuzhuang buried hill reservoir is an Ordovician system reservoir in east Baxian buried hill area of Jizhong depression. It includes two sets of Marine carbonate reservoirs which are Ordovician and Carbrian Fujunshan group. The reflection event of top interface of buried hill is continuous and stable so that it is easy to track on the seismic section and is in accordance with the existing drilling depth basically. The reflection event of top interface of inner fujunshan group is medium continuous and strong in amplitude that the event can be marked with the help of logging data.Faults are developed in Longhuzhuang buried hill where including many EW striking and some NS striking normal faults. Both the top interface of buried hill and fujunshan group develop a block anticline composite trap which is controlled by an EW striking fault. We can know more about the buried hill and the inside structure by drawing some structure and3D pictures.The seismic attributes of top interface of buried hill respond clearly while the inner characteristics are disordered because of the tiny fracture. By extracting the layer attributes of the top interface and inner fujunshan group separately, we choose the advantage oil and gas accumulation areas. Then we verify the feasibility of these areas through comparing them together and predict the integrated oil and gas prospect area of each layer. Finally with the use of PCA and RGB fusion, the chosen petroliferous areas are determined which provide the basis for further oil and gas exploration and development.
