In this paper, a detailed study of the characteristics of the Jialingjiang Formation is taken in the Huaguoshan structure which in the southern of Sichuan Basin. Using core and cuttings description data sheet data, combined with the existing logging data, seismic data, regional geological data, test data analysis to study of its Petrographic characteristics, physical properties and pore structure characteristics, electrical characteristics, such as logging response characteristics.Eventually, summed up the type of the reservoir formation and a comprehensive evaluation of its reservoirs. Drilling, logging and other related data show that Jialingjiang Formation in the study area thickness distribution of the overall stability, only the individual wells’ thickens significantly affected by faults.Stratigraphic of T1j22and T1j23distribution is more stable, the thickness of the considerable (40-60m). The thickness distribution stable formations from T1j21to T1j1, the general thickness is more than100m. By depositing a single well study phase of the study area,believed that from T1j21to T1j1is mainly confined to the semi-confined sea platform facies. And can be further divided into semi-restricted lagoon facies and platform edge shallow facies. Evaporation platform facies and restricted platform facies are often developed in T1j22and T1j23. The reservoir of Jialingjiang Formation in the Huaguoshan structure is mainly developed in T1j21, T1j1,T1j22and T1j23.Main lithologies powder dolomite, limestone and dolomite shale ash. Many kind of Reservoir space types with cracks and voids (holes) based can be found. Reservoirs are mainly developed in the high parts of structural, wing reservoir obviously deteriorated. Wavy variation on lateral reservoir. On the effective thickness of the reservoir contour map was relatively isolated local area and the local thick alternating with thin areas. According to the aforementioned research,made recommendations well placement deployment of Huaguoshan structure.
