Volcanic rock reservoir, coal-bed gas, shale gas and low permeability reservoir have gained more and more attention as the globally drastic decrease of oil and gas resource. Volcanic rock reservoir, as a new-type gas reservoir, has some same characteristics like conventional reservoir. On the other hand, it has its own diversity which is served as troubles met with during the exploration and development, In America and Japan, there are advanced research methods of volcanic rock reservoir. However, in China, the development method is still in undeveloped stage though many volcanic reservoirs were found in Northeast China and Xinjiang. Thus, this paper takes Changling volcanic rock reservoir as background, and makes some beneficial study.Changling gas reservoir is a high CO2gas reservoir that is different from conventional reservoir to a great extent. Therefore, the first problem in the development stage is how to predict the physical parameters of highly acidic gas, especially Z-factor and viscosity. The accuracy of the two basic parameters affect directly on the accuracy of other physical parameters and the calculation of B.H. pressure, geological reserve and productivity. This paper, thus, focuses on it and compiles program according the measured data. Then it analyses the optimization of Z-factor calculation and finally picks up the best one in different terms from many computation modes. In the dynamic analysis of gas development, B.H. pressure is a vital data. However, it is hard to measure every well in conventional gas reservoir, nor the highly acidic gas reservoir. This paper, on the basis of optimization of Z-factor, predicts the B.H. pressure and the goodness of fit is high, which proves that this method is feasible. Moreover, the field production data are involved in this paper to analyze the productivity, verify the controlled reserve and estimate the stable yields. And it forecasts the changing trend of productivity and studies the factors that have influence on productivity and rate maintenance capability. With the study of this paper, it will give more advantageous guidance and suggestion to volcanic rock and highly acidic gas reservoir.
