Taking "deposition" as the foundation,"reservoir" as the main line, making full use of the materials of core, drilling, logging, testing, assaying and other aspects, this paper mainly has a research on the strata correlation, sedimentary facies and reservoir characteristics of carboniferous Huanglong Formation in Wuling Moutain-Pudong Area. Based on the above research, proper reservoir parameter is selected to predicate the favorable reservoir.According to informations of logging, core and drilling, taking the marker bed as correlation basis, the strata of the research area can be divided into5facies by the way of hierarchical control and cyclic correlation, of which Huanglong2formation can be divided into3subfacies. On the basis of correlation of strata, we take a study about the facies marker of core wells in the research area(including the lithology marker and paleontology marker), divide the sedimentary microfacies, and certain the representative sedimentary microfacies types of each layer. A corresponding relationship between electrofacies and sedimentary facies is established by analyzing the log response characteristics of different microfacies in cored intervals. According to the electrofacies marker, we can ensure the sedimentary microfacies type of the cored intervals, and thus analyze the time-space evolution characteristics of sedimentary facies. Finally, combined with the existing research results, we can divide sedimentary microfacies of the research area more objectively.This thesis researches the reservoir characteristics in three aspects:lithology, hydrocarbon accumulation space and physical property. The main rock type, hydrocarbon accumulation space type and characteristics can be obtained by the data of cores, thin section and physical property analysis, in addition, the hydrocarbon accumulation space can be classified. Different thicknesses of throat seriously affect the permeability of rocks, therefore, different configurations of throat and pore make the reservior appears different properties. So we can study pore structure characteristics of the reservior by the parameters of pore throat distribution characteristics which can be obtained from mercury penetration data. From the research of influencing factors of the reservoir in sedimentation, diagenesis and structure aspects, we find sedimentation determines the property of original reservoir, for the late reforming, diagenesis and structure has both damage and development effects.In this Thesis, combined with core and log informations, on the basis of considerating the physical significance of log parameters,we establish log interpretation model of reservior parameters for different zones by using multiple stepwise regression method. The analysis of distribution of reservior parameters provides the basis for the study of the main range-zone of Huanglong reservior development in the research area.
