Banwai lead-zinc exploration area is located in the southern section of Changning-Menglian rift of Lancang County in Yunnan Proviuce. It is a variety of mineralization favorable structural environment and important metallogenic geological "parity overlay" and the coupling region. With the metallogenic condition of a typical multi-mineralization period, multi-mineralization material source, multi-genetic type of mineral deposits. Based on the systematic study of the regional geological setting and characteristics, by integrated use of exploration geochemistry, remote sensing technology and other methods, extract and analyze the favorable information of metallogenic, establish multiple information quantitative prediction model, thus completing the metallogenic prediction and target selection.. This paper obtained the following knowledge and achievements:(1) On the basis of the regional geological background and analysis of characteristics of regional distribution of mineral resources, research on geological characteristics of deposits exploration area, summary metallogenic regularity and origin rules. The main ore-controlling structure is NNW-SSE faults, mostly ore lenses, veins output, the main ore mineral is galena, pyrrhotite, pyrite, ore brecciated, vein-like structure, Silicification and pyrite, altered strongly. The genetic type of mineral deposits of exploration area is middle-low-temperature hydrothermal deposits.(2) To carry out prospecting by exploration geochemistry, it has explored element migration and enrichment law, and a combination of elements mineralization process. Metallogenic element abundances:Pb background values higher crustal abundance 3-7 times, Sb background values higher crustal abundance values an order of magnitude, Cu, Zn background values and crustal abundance near,10 elements in obedience to the lognormal distribution, refer to the element anomalies lower limit and the element anomalies divided 8 anomalies.(3) Based on TM, Aster images, Banwai lead-zinc exploration area of Lancang County established the structure of remote sensing interpretation signs, extracted of Remote Sensing line-ring structure, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the line-ring structure with a known relationship between minerals, lineament in more developed regions, tone anomaly of a certain relationship with pb-zn mineralization. Lineaments and wire loop structure’s interchange are favorable sites of mineralization and prospecting.(4) With integrated metallogenic information quantitative analysis and target area selection, comprehensive metallogenic quantitative model was set up. On the basis of geological, geochemical exploration, remote sensing and other deposits in metallogenic information, as well as the classification principles of target level, seven target area were divided into 1 Ⅰ level,2 Ⅱ level (target of Ⅱ1 and Ⅱ2), four Ⅲ level (target of Ⅲ1, Ⅲ2, Ⅲ3 and Ⅲ4).
