Ochotona Curzoniae are indigenous animal species of Tibet Plateau, Through the study of physiology of Ochotona Curzoniae in high mountain, It will be increase the cognizing that we adapt to the biology mechanism of hypoxia circumstance on living organism. The Seasonal variation of climate usually brings the changes of temperature, photoperiod, rainfall, food and so on, which will affect the living conditions, habits and behavior patterns of the animals. In this paper, through the capture of Ochotona Curzoniae in six month, comparing the changes of body weight, blood routine, blood gas and reproductive hormones of it in breeding season, we associate the various behavior patters in different times and the measured data to explore the impact of seasonal factors on the blood physiology of Ochotona Curzoniae. The results show that:(1)From May to October, male and female Ochotona Curzoniae’s weight shows an overall increasing trend, This trend is associated with the nutrients increasing in food. But there was a stage of decline in July, it may be caused by the end of the breeding stage.(2)Female and male Ochotona Curzoniae’s RBC show a higher value in May, June and August, which is connected with the amount of exercise that Ochotona Curzoniae do in these months; In addition to the factors caused by RBC increasing, HCT and HGB’s significant increasing in June(P <0.05) also lie in the augment of nutrients, such as protein, in food. MCV shows a lower value in those months when activity occurs a lot, which increases the exchange rate for Oxygen in red blood cell; And there is no significant change in MCH(P >0.05); The reason for RBC, HCT, HGB’s reducing of pregnant Ochotona Curzoniae is due to hemodilution.(3)During the peak of breeding season in June, large quantity of movement increases pulmonary ventilation and oxygen utilization rate. And Pa O2、DPO(a-v)、Sa O2、SO2(a-v) of female, male Ochotona Curzoniae are higher than in other months; After the end of the breeding season in July, the quantity of lactic acid and other acidic substances reduce, and the BE, HCO3- and other alkali reserve in blood increase causing female Ochotona Curzoniae p Ha in July’s augment. In other months, the content of PCO2、HCO3-、BE and TCO2 show a certain changes as the months go, but p H remains a relative state, which is the result of acid-base component dynamic equilibrium in blood; The Pa CO2, Pv CO2, Tv CO2 of pergant Ochotona Curzoniae is lower, however PO2 and SO2 does not show a significant reduction(P > 0.05).(4) The transformation of T4 to T3 rises in cold September and October to increase RMR and NST, causing the decrease of T4’s concentration; During the breeding season, May and June, female and male Ochotona Curzoniae reduce the conversion of T4 to T3 because of more heat in food, showing a higher concentration of T4.(5) During peak of breeding season in May and June, the relative weight of male Ochotona Curzoniae testis and T is significantly higher than in other months(P <0.05), and female E2 arrives peak in June, then begin to decline. The female and male Ochotona Curzoniae change hormone content in breeding season, which eventually lead to the changes of other physiological and biochemical parameters.
