Ostracoda as an effective indicator plays an considerably important role in the study of sedimentary environment of lake. However, due to not too familiar with the living environment of some regional or local species, and some eurytopic species which can stand to be around environment of great range change, so it is very difficult to finish the work which makes the use of the distribution and combination of Ostracoda to reduce their environment information. In this paper, aiming at the defect we collected 28 surface sediment samples of different depth in Yangzonghai Lake which is one of the nine plateau lakes in Yunnan province. And carry on the analysis and identification of qualitative, quantitative treatment. Find these changes of abundance and diversity of Ostracoda in the surface sediments.1、Ostracoda in 6 genera and 7 species were found. Statistics to the fossil Ostracoda shell a total of 1724 medals. All Ostracoda’s physiological characteristics and ecological data were described in detail. They are Heterocypris incongruens,Parachinocythere reticulata gen. et sp. nov.,Cypridopsis nigrovittata,Potamocypris smaragdina, Neovirgatocypris fuxianhuensis Huang et Yang sp.nov., Candona fuxianhuensis,Candona sp.。2 、 The results show that Heterocypris incongruens is the first absolutly dominant species of Yangzonghai Lake, the percentage is about 66.7%. Parachinocythere reticulata gen. et sp. nov. is the second primarily dominant species of Yangzonghai Lake, the percentage is about 15.1%. Cypridopsis nigrovittata is the third primarily dominant species of Yangzonghai lake, the percentage is about 6.9%.3、High production distributed in the southwest basin and the northwest corner of Lake Bay. The Ostracoda of northwest in the whole basin is significantly more than the medium of southeastern. In the northern west terminal of the whole basin, Ostracoda shell valve reaches the minimum number. We have not found any Ostracoda in sample YZH-28 in northernmost.4 、 It will be divided into shallow, middle and deep water in the three combination stages combining the Yangzonghai Lake water depth, temperature, pH value and oxygen content and other related quality data. Ostracode of shallow water overall showed a combination of Heterocypris incongruens—Cypridopsis nigrovittata. Ostracoda shell valve number 599 pieces were found. Ostracode ofmedium depths overall showed the distribution of Heterocypris incongruens—Parachinocythere reticulata gen. et sp. nov.. Ostracoda shell valve number 503 pieces were found. Ostracoda of deepwater is mainly Parachinocythere reticulata gen. et sp. nov.. Ostracoda shell valve number 632 pieces were found.5、There were serious arsenic contamination in Yangzonghai Lake in 2008. Although pollution incident gradually restore calm with the artificial governance of Yunnan Province in 2009, the water level dropped severely, arsenic pollution or no cure thoroughly. Therefore this paper inferred that there is some relationship between the combination of feature and distribution law of Ostracoda and the patterns composition and spatial distribution of asenic. Also some related problems are discussed.6、Three kinds of software has been carried on the appraisal. Obtained the corresponding Ostracoda software features and ecological environment information. To further enrich the modern Ostracoda ecological information of Yunnan area and play a foreshadowing role to improve the research level of the Yunnan area of earth science work.
