Signature Method And Its Properties Of Polymorphic Monotonic System

With the development of science and technology, as for as the function of the product’s diverse, people have a deeper understanding on the reliability of the system what the product’s components often show multiple states in their failure processes instead of two. So the study on the reliability of multistate system is becoming the main steam which more and more scholars concentrate on. In traditional reliability research, we usually assume that components and systems only have two states (i.e. work and failure). While, in real life, because they are in a complex random environment, so the components and systems can’t show two states any more, but variety of failure states. Signature is a very useful tool for the research of system reliability in recent years. Considering the method of multistate system is usually very complex and cumbersome. This paper simplifies the computations of the system by using it.In this paper, on the basis of multistate monotone system decomposition theory and multistate monotone system Signature definition, we study the calculation method of multistate monotone system Signature and analyze the properties of multistate monotone system based on it.First of all, we do study on the calculation method of the Signature in the multistate monotone system with independent and identical components. In this paper, on the basis of the decomposition theory of multistate monotone system and the definition of multistate monotone system Signature, we make the calculation method of the Signature in multistate monotone system further standardized and more specific, and finally, the numerical examples are given to verify.Secondly, we do study on the calculation method of the reliability indices of the system in the multistate monotone system with independent and identical components. The specific expression of the system reliability index is given based on the multistate monotone system Signature.Third, based on the third classical theorems of the two-state system residual life and the calculation method of the Signature in multistate monotone system, this paper studies the problem of the residual life of the multistate monotone system.In a word, we do study on the standardized and specific calculation method of multistate monotone system signature and analyze the comparison on residual life of a system and reliability index of system on the basis of the calculation method.
