With the rapid development of social economy and science and technology human’s disturbance to natural geological environment is rising. As a result, the frequency and scale of geological disaster like mud-rock flow has continuously increased. Mud-rock flow which outbreaks continuously and on a large seal is harmful to social economic development, ecological environment, human’s life and possession has received great attention. Therefor, it’s imperative to research the development environment of mud-rock, the outbreak time, seal, evolution trend and so on. Putting forward specific and effective methods to control and prevent the occurrence of debris flow disaster. The following example is about Zili rever groove rock-mud in Weixi country set. Study the development of basic situation of groove rock-mud, analysis the formation characteristics, predict the evolution trend and get the parameters of outbreak time, cycle, scale, danger and scope and so on. Putting forward specific and effective management plans to restore and improve the ecological environment of groove area, help the healthy and sustainable development of the local social and economic. This survey concluded that the rock-mud flow of groove has obvious divisional features. They are rinsing disvrict, formation district, flow district and accumuleation district. Each district not only has obvious features but also show different functions. Rock-mud flow is a common effect of multiple factors, it’s hard to classify by only one method. It’s more reasonable to use the method of comprehensive classification which can reflect the features of rock-mud formation more clearly. The formation mechanism of mud-rock flow includ three big elemental conditions and two features. We also call them internal cause and external cause. They’re landform condition, geology determines, headwaters condition and human beings. The internal cause the possibility of mud-rock flow. However the external cause not only leads the mud-rock flow to happen, but also expedites it. At the same time, the external cause expands the formation scope of mud-rock flow.According to the coefficient analytical method, this study got the rainfall cycle of the valley area with the analysis of its rainfall materials which involves almost 40 years history of Zili river and speculated that the quasi-period regulation of mud-rock flow and predicted to pographic condition with some related theory. It shows that cleuch of Zili fever is keeping straightening. The amount of loose solid objects is luxuriant and keeping grow, the rainfall period is centralized mean while the rainstorm and successional rainfall tend to be frequency. So it will be a higher probability outbreak period of rock-mud flow around 2016. The suffering scale of mud-rock flow is about 0.43km2, it focuses on the arable land, residential area and or affiic artery of lower reaches. The total square of mud-rock flow is almost 13.95x104m3.Put forward specific management plans according to the research of groove mud-flow’s occurrence mechanism, exact cycle rule and evolution mode. Achieve the social, economic and ecological benefits organic unity by engineering measures and plants measures which can comprehensively control small watersheds. What’s more, the mainly treatments of bank and slop are to reinforce the stabilization of bank and slop and reduce recharge source of loose materials. So here are some suggestions:take engineering treatments for unstable slop, plant trees in areas that are high erosion modulus, increase the fraction of coverage and change the tillage ways and so on. Treatments of dich are mainly about intercepting loose materials and unchorking dich that can create space for flood rush. Here are main measures:building dam, training duke, apron and dredging and so on.
