In the process of the study of Dialectics of Nature, the author found many relevant the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge, but the idea is fragmentary, this article main summarized from the view of episodic to Engels’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge. The author mainly talk from three aspects of Engels’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge. First, the mainly writing the background of Engels’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge, from Engels’ original works, found that Engels’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge mainly influenced by the ancient Greek philosophy and German classical philosophy and Darwin’s the theory of evolution. The main absorption of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle in ancient Greek philosophy three mentoring the theory of scientific knowledge. In the German classical philosophy, the main absorption of the theory of Kant’s transce ndental and Hegel’s concept of Absolute Idea. Learned in the Darwinian survival competition, the survival of the fittest, such as the theory of evolutionary, Engels introduced Darwin’s theory of evolution into the theory of scientific knowledge growth firstly. Second, as the core content of the article, I deep into Engels’ original work s, such as Dialectics of Nature, The Theory of Turin and so on, the reduction of Engels’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge, from the development forms of scientific knowledge, motivation and direction or limit three aspects exposing the mysteries of Engels’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge. Third, through comparison Engels with the later generations’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge, and then review on Engels’ the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge. Especially Popper and K uhn and Lakatos, they have many things in common with Engels in the theory of increasing in scientific knowledge, Therefore, Engels effected on them obviously.
