At present, our country’s chemical floods is reoriented towards high-temperature, high-salt petroleum reservoir and combinational flooding technology. Of four key technologies that need to be studied, seeking for or synthesis heat-resistant and salt tolerant surface active agent is extremely important. A great deal of research has been done on alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether sulfosalt which is an kind of nonionic surfactants and anionic mixed surfactants that has an expansive application prospects, which has the advantages of higher surface activity, less absorption loss, stronger foaming expansion, high temperature resisting and high salinity resisting. The documents about synthetic way of alkylphenolpolyoxyethyleneethersulfonate can be seen in many articles, but these methods are not suitable for industrial production for the features of them. So, developing a process which has the low cost, easy and safe to operation is a problem that should be solved quickly. alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate is synthesized by addition reaction of alkenes, through the two-step reaction:allylation and sulfonation. This method is superior to other methods, due to its simplicity, the used of cheap reagents and process easy to be controlled. But its yield is low. This paper made a detailed study on Synthesis process of addition reaction of alkenes. In the process of addition reaction of alkenes, a new phase transfer catalyst was used in the allylation process and composite catalysts were used in sulfonation reaction. This method solves the problem of low yield that caused in the traditional methods. In addition, technological parameters were optimized by orthogonal experiments. It provided a useful research for the industrial application of the alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate. In the allylation process, PEG-600 was used as phase transfer catalysts, on this condition, the productivity of intermediate products diallyl ether is 94.0%.In the sulfonation reaction, hydrosulfite-sulfite is used as sulfonating agent and nitrate or product is used as catalyst, on this condition, the productivity of sulfonate products is 85.0%.The best parameter founded by Optimization could be listed as follows:in the allylation process, temperature is 120℃, n(chloropropylene):n(OP-10) is 1.4-1.5and reaction time is 6h; in the sulfonation reaction, the range of reaction temperature is 95~97℃, n(sulfonating agent):n(allyl ether) is 1.8 and reaction time is 8h.By evaluating the product, the conclusion can be listed as follows:this method has low CMC. The CMC of AESO is 0.105mmol·L-1, and the interfacial activity is much high. When the concentration of AESO is 0.1%,the interfacial tension between oil and solution is 6.4×10-3 mN/m. It has much strong foaming expansion. In 30s, the foam height of 0.3% AESO is 250mm by using standard Ross-Miles Apparatus. It also has low absorption loss, the adsorption capacity of AESO in the AESO is lower to 4.3mg/g.
