The dispersant plays a very important role in the pesticide chemistry industry. The carboxylate polymeric dispersant is a kind of important anion dispersant, which possess good dispersion, water-solubility, fight hard water ability, is one of the commonly used pesticide dispersant.The nine kinds of carboxylate polyelectrolyte dispersants had been synthesized by radical solution polymerization with St, MAA, HE A, HPA and VS as monomers, whose structure were confirmed by1H-NMR and FT-IR.The molecular weight, the critical micelle concentration, hydrophilic-lipophilic balance value and hydrophobicity constant of nine kinds of new synthetic copolymer dispersants were measured; and applied for producing430g/L tebuconazole suspension concentrate, the four kinds of dispersants which possess preferred dispersibility were screened by measuring the rate before and after heat storage and the surface tension, foaming and emulsifying ability were measured. The results showed that: the dispersant named SD-D with sulfonic acid group had the largest area occupied by molecular in the interface between air and water, the weaker persistent foaming and the best emulsification.According to the effect of four screened dispersants’ dosage on the Zeta potential, viscosity and sedimention height of the tebuconazole suspension concentrate, the optimum dosage was4%; for the tebuconazole suspension concentrate with the dosage of dispersant was4%, the storage stability and sedimentation stability by Turbiscan Lab were measured, the results showed that the dispersant named SD-D had the best dispersion stability when the dosage was4%. Meanwhile exploring the dispersion property of the inorganic particle SiO2, the dispersant named SD-D also had good redispersion stability.
