Plant extracts are extrated from plant using different organic solvents and by physical or chemical, separation, and obtain one or more active ingredients in plants, without changing its effective component structure to form a product. Along with the large export of plant extracts, problems, such as pesticide residues, heavy metals, organic solvents and environmental pollutants, also revealed. However, the requirements of limited quantity of plant extracts become increasingly stringent, and exporting plant extracts may face the strict quality requirements. Research on pyrethriods pesticide residues and organophosphorus pesticide residues in plant extracts can provide technical supports for pesticide residues detection. This thesis concentrated on the study of pyrethriods pesticide residues and organophosphorus pesticide residues in plant extracts by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS), including the following contents:1. An effective method was developed and applied to determine15kinds of pyrethroid pesticides residues in8kinds of plant extracts with GC-MS/MS. After n-hexane extraction and Florisil solid-phase extraction column purification, samples were determined by GC-MS/MS in multi-reaction monitoring (MRM) mode, and the external calibrations were used for the quantification. The results showed good linearity with the correlation coefficients (r2) higher than0.9989in the range of0.008~1.0mg/L, the limits of quantification (LOQ) were0.003~0.17mg/kg. The recoveries were in the range of63.4%to139.0%with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) between2.5%and16.7%(n=6). This method is simple, sensitive, and can be used for quantification and qualitative analysis of pomegranate peel and other8kinds of plant extracts.2. A analytical method based on GC-MS/MS has been developed for the detection of39kinds of organophosphorus pesticide residues in4kinds of plant extracts. Samples were used QuEChERS methods after extrated with acetonitrile containing1%acetic acid, and determined by GC-MS/MS from the cranberry extract, pomegranate peel extract, olive leaf extract and horsetail extract. The results showed good linearity with the correlation coefficients (r2) higher than0.9915within0.005~1.0mg/L, the detection limit (LOD) were0.2-3.2ug/kg and the limits of quantification (LOQ) were0.5-10.0μg/kg. The recoveries were in the range of62.0%to126.4%with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) between2.4%and17.6%(n=3). This method is simple, sensitive, and can be used for quantification and qualitative analysis of4kinds of plant extracts.
