Waterflooding is the current widely used development methods, however, the quality of injection water has huge effect on reservoir protection and stable oil field production.Unqualified injected water will bring catastrophic damage to reservoirs, especialy for marine sandstone reservoirs. Suspended particles will enter and block the throat of reservoir, and then decrease reservoir permeability and affect the development efficiency of oilfield significantly. Therefore, the optimization of the injection water quality is very necessary.Through a large number literature research at home and abroad, the damage of particle migration and other potential factors to reservoir were researched. Several kinds of common used forecasting models for the capacity of absorbing water also introduced, moreover, the impedance models of injected water were studied in detail and obtained the corresponding solving scheme. The data of waterflooding well of B oilfield was used to do regression analysis by this scheme. The function relationship among reservoir damage factors and filtration coefficient and suspended solids were obtained, the forecasting model was established. The waterflooding pressure of B oilfield was predicted by this forecasing model, the results show that this model is agree with the experiment results and is much more reliable. Besides, suspended particles also were researched in experiment, experimental results were fit in good with actual curve. Finally, based on the analysis of experimental results, the optimal particle index was provided. This paper combines the theoretical research and experimental analysis, the particle damage forecasting model was derived under the laboratory conditions. The best particles index under different damaged conditions were obtained though the analysis of surface damage evaluation, which will guide the optimization of quality of waterflooding.
