So far, the developed oil fields in China have almost entered the stage of high water cut. During high water cut stage, several problems should be take into account, such as, the increasing of water production and decreasing of oil production, more production costs, worse effect in operation, as a result,the development of oil fields will get more difficult. Oilfield development experience at home and abroad show that when injecting water can do almost nothing for production, gas injection can be an effective method for the high water cut reservoir. Gas injection can do gravity segregation of oil and gas, controlling water, restoring formation pressure, increasing the degree of utilization of reserves, improving reservoir development, then enhancing oil recovery. Feasibility study of reservoir gas injection has direct significance for the reservoirs of high water cut.H17is a reservoir with a gas cap, thick, massive sandstone and bottom water, the current formation has been severely degassed into the high water stages of development with poor water flooding effect and low degree of recovery blocks. In this paper, a lot of relevant literature and experience with similar oilfield can make depth analysis of the reservoir gas injection mechanism, deriving the mathematical and numerical models of oil, gas and water three-phase multi-component model. Simulating the phase behavior and properties of H17reservoir with phase analysis software, it can provide three-dimensional numerical reservoir simulation with the basic data of flow characteristics. On the basis of dynamic analysis and research of geological characteristics in the test area, establishing a three-dimensional numerical simulation and injection reserves distribution model of H17reservoir, to verify the geological reserves and remaining oil distribution in the target reservoir.Finally, using numerical simulation methods to simulate the effect of H17reservoir and optimized relevant injection parameters.Basis on the injection parameters, develop a recommended plan, which program simulation predicted20-year cumulative oil production195.152×104t, the extent of recovery will reach44.252%, compared to8.94percent increase in water flooding. Through the numerical simulation of gas injection can recognize that gas injection "coning" to achieve H17reservoir water control, to restore formation pressure, improve reservoir development to further enhance oil recovery, at the same time, for the similar reservoir the development has an important reference value.
