Horizontal well thermal recovery is an important method for developing heavy oil reservoirs effectively. The technology of Cyclic Steam Stimulation of horizontal well has been widely used in FC oilfield. However, some problems of Cyclic Steam Stimulation have already appeared. Such as heteropic steam absorption in horizontal section, serious steam channeling, etc.The technique of segregated completion can enhance the producing degree of horizontal wells. The technique of subsection steam injection in horizontal well can achieve the goal of homogeneous steam injection. The new technique which as a combination of segregated completion, subsection steam injection and segregated production may resolve development problems of FC oilfield. The development effectiveness of the new technique is better than conventional well completion, which can be proved by production dynamic analysis of FC oilfield and comparing temperature logging data. Sensitivity analysis of the parameters including horizontal wells design parameters, bottom dryness fraction, steam injection velocity, steam injection intensity, soaking time, individual producer fluid rate, etc are made and the reasonable scope of these parameters would be given.By use reservoir engineering method and reservoir numerical simulation, some key heavy oil thermal recovery indexes concerned with Block Zhong32and Block Zhong18of FC oilfield may be obtained and as shown in this paper. The studies can provide technical support for cyclic steam stimulation of Block Zhong32and Block Zhong18.
