With the rapid development of information technology, a variety of electronicequipment constantly updated, new photoelectric material has attracted more and moreattention. Nano ZnO structures have the advantages such as the width of the band gap of3.37eV at room temperature, exciton binding energy of60meV, has broad applicationprospects in many areas such as the short wavelength light-emitting devices, solar cellsand piezoelectric sensor. The controllable of the growth of the ZnO nanowires is the focu sof the study, this paper do the research on growth of nano ZnO by a variety of methods,explore the different morphology and properties of different growth mechanism.At first, we give a brief introduction on the nano science and technology, and thenintroduce some common methods on growth of nano structure (vapor phase method andliquid phase method), the principle and mechanism of the different methods is alsomentioned. After this, apparatus mainly used for characterizing nanostructured materialsare introduced, such as scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscope,X-ray diffraction system.Second, we introduce the characteristics of nano ZnO, the current research situation,and expound the application of nanometer ZnOThird, we grow the ZnO nanowires using the Aqueous method. Analysis the meaningof some parameters. The ZnO that we got was researched by many aspects such as theappearance, the structure, and the composition. We also explore the growth mechanism.Forth, we use the vapor phase method to grow the ZnO nanostructures. We also usethe C-MEMS technology that we already have. In this part, we give a brief introduce ofthe C-MEMS technology, then use the different methods to grow the ZnO nanowires. TheZnO that we got by this method was researched by many aspects such as the appearance,the structure, and the composition. We also explore the growth mechanism of the vaporphase method.Finally, we compare the different methods (chemical vapor deposition andhydrothermal method) on growing the ZnO nanowires, analysis the advantages anddisadvantages...
