| Petrochemical industry, using oil or natural gas as the main raw material to producechemical products, is the basic industry of modern human society. Compared with otherindustrial areas, equipment maintenance management is much more important for safe andsmooth operation and capacity utilization, as the raw materials for petrochemicalproduction are mostly poisonous, with high temperature and high pressure, flammable orhighly corrosive.Reliability maintenance management of petrochemical equipment is based on RCManalysis and the characteristics of petrochemical production process. Reliabilitymaintenance management is focused on the safety and effectiveness. The main contents ofpetrochemical equipment RCM analysis is including critical assessment of equipment andFMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), and then based on the results to develop andoptimize equipment maintenance strategies.The thesis is using both theoretical research and real case study method. It introducesand analyses the main equipment maintenance modes and maintenance managementstructure, and then discusses the implementation of RCM analysis in detail. It proposedthat reliability maintenance management of petrochemical equipment shall focus on thesafety and effectiveness, by optimizing of equipment maintenance strategy and preventivemaintenance plan, with analyzing of maintenance execution performance and relatedreliability KPI (Key Performance Index) to ensure maintenance effectiveness. |
