In this paper, Mat glaze was prepared by using the waste slag of aluminum factory as raw material, belonging to the project of solid waste comprehensive development and utilization, which was of great the environmental protection and economic significance.According to actual practice of the Dehua ceramic industry production, three typical ceramic enterprise were chosed to do the experiment, the formula was developed according to the various products of the concrete requirements, after a lot of experiments, three series, six kinds of ceramic matt glaze products were finally successfully made, involving many kinds of ceramic matt glaze such as the high temperature of raw material inferior smooth glaze and matt glaze, mid-temperature of raw material inferior smooth glaze and matt glaze and low temperature frit inferior smooth glaze and matt glaze. In the process of research the influence on the aluminum plant sludge to glaze gloss and billet glaze adaptive were investigated, through the formula calculation, the influence of silicon aluminum ratio on glaze glossiness was discussed, and according to the actual producing the optimal formula was determined.The products of the moralization Confucianism garden gifts co., LTD. were mainly cup and dish and ceramics for daily using and processing ceramics, the firing temperature was 1285±10 ℃. High-temperature raw inferior smooth glaze and matt glaze were prepared by using aluminum plant sludge in this industry, the optimal adding amount of the sludge and tailings were 22wt% and 36wt%, respectively. By the glaze type calculation, the silicon-aluminum ratio of the inferior smooth glaze was 2.84, acidity coefficient:CA=0.64, the glaze effect is inferior smooth area; the silicon-aluminum ratio of matt glaze was 1.89, acidity coefficient:CA= 0.43, the glaze effect was of flat area.Mid-temperature raw inferior smooth glaze and matt glaze were prepared by using aluminum plant sludge and gold tailings, This glaze formula was tested in Quanzhou creative group company, and products were given priority to craft ceramics, daily art ceramics, such as medium temperature ceramics, the firing temperature was 1224±10℃, the optimal adding amount of the sludge were 10wt% and 13wt%, respectively. By the glaze type calculation, the silicon-aluminum ratio of the inferior smooth glaze was 4.61, acidity coefficient: CA= 1.25, the glaze effect is inferior smooth area; the silicon-aluminum ratio of matt glaze was 4.6, acidity coefficient:CA= 0.94, the glaze effect was of flat area.Low-tempreture fritted inferior smooth glaze and matt glaze were prepared by using aluminum plant sludge, This glaze formula was tested in Fujian dehua county hongda ceramics co., LTD., Its products were given priority to BaiYunTao, the firing temperature was 1102±10℃, the optimal adding amount of the sludge was 17wt% and 21wt%, respectively. By the glaze type calculation, the silicon-aluminum ratio of the inferior smooth glaze was 4.51, acidity coefficient: CA= 1.09, the glaze effect is inferior smooth area; the silicon-aluminum ratio of matt glaze was 3.86, acidity coefficient:CA= 0.86, the glaze effect was of flat area.It was found that the addition of up to 36wt% of waste slag of aluminum factory was possible in the production of the glazes. This shall be hewing out a creative method for the comprehensive utilization of the waste slag of aluminum factory and the low cost of ceramic manufacturing.
