In recent years, the semiconductor photocatalytic technology has attracted enough attention for their application in solar energy conversion and degradation of various pollutants. The semiconductor photocatalytic technology can catalyze a variety of redox reactions through the utilization of solar energy, since it is considered to be one of the most promising ways to solve the energy crisis and environmental pollution problems. Through the process of photocatalytic, the catalyst development and preparation always be the most important. The photocatalytic materials with a wide spectral response and high quantum efficiency is the key to the semiconductor photocatalytic technology, which has been a hot topic in the field of photocatalytic technology. Titanium dioxide nano-materials used in catalysis system possess the advantages:large surface area and pore volume,excellent photo-electro-chemical effect, as well as the strong ability of oxidation,and non-toxic, stable, low cost, easy to get. So it can be widely used in splitting water for the production of hydrogen, the degradation of pollutants, and solar power generation.In this thesis, TiO2 with high energy surfaces exposed、TiO2 nanotubes、TiO2 nanorods and TiO2 nanowires photocatalysts were prepared through hydrothermal-assisted method under different conditions, as the same time, the sensitizer modified the Titanium dioxide nano-materials.The obtained catalysts were characterized by XRD、SEM、TEM、FT-IR and N2 isothermal adsorption-desorption techniques. Then, their photocatalytic activities were studied by the degradation reaction of methyl orange under the irradiation of visible light. The photocatalytic materials are also applied to the prepared water photolysis experiments in hydrogen production, and then we explored the influences of sensitizer, calcination temperature, calcination time and the amount of methanol on the formation of crystal, particle size and their phtocatalytic performances. Moreover, through the comparative analysis of the experiment results,we want to find the important factors affecting the high photocatalytic, enrich the photocatalytic reaction mechanism and theoretical system,and do some useful work for economical, high efficient, stable and high recovery rate photocatalysts, which can be used in a large range in the industrial productions.
