This Master thesis is about Plique-a-jour enamel technique. Plique-a-jour is a beautiful schnique that has a history of 2000 years. It is considered as one of the hardest enameling techniques. I decided to do this research because I wanted to learn how to create it myself. During my research I created a new method of making this technique, which simplified it and shortened the production time. For my graduation collection I created silver and bronze body jewelry collection using Plique-a-jour enameling technique. This research is important because this is a very rare technique, which is very hard to master and there is no information available for those who want to learn it because this technique is usually passed down from generation to generation.
