Polymer flooding technology is a cost-effective way to enhance oil recovery efficiency which has been applied in Daqing, Shengli and other oil fields, yet it achieved good results. After using polymer to flood the reservoir, because of high molecular weight, high concentration and high viscosity of the polymer, the change of reservoir fluid make it possible that electrical parameters of the reservoir have occured changes, it is beneficial for log interprtation after polymer flooding to study the variation rule and mechanism of resistivity features. The paper is based on the experimental study of polymer features. It primarily studies the resistivity of polymer solution in the experiment research, and It indicates that the mineralization dominates the resistivity of polymer solution. afterwards it simulates the replacement process of oil field to carry out the research of rock samples’ resistivity nature using the pressure coring sample in the polymer oilfield and analyses electrical parameters of rock. Pair analyses technique is applied to study the logging response characteristics, the macroscopic parameter and microcosmic characteristic of the reservoir before and after polymer flooding, and to anlysize the variational rule and it’s mechanism. interpretation model is built for reservoir parameter of shaliness index, porosity, permeability, formation water resistivity and so on.it tests that Archie equation is still propitious to polymer logging interpretation. Finally key wells are disposed and interpretated, and then the effectiveness of the model is tested. In brief it provides conditions for logging interpretation after polymer flooding.
