Environmental contaminants have been jeopardizing human health and ecological safety, so )eople focus more and more on the determination and pretreatment techniques of environmental contaminants. Sample pretreatment techniques have always been an important part in the establishment of determination techniques due to the complexity of environmental samples and lifferences of target substances. Functionalized magnetic materials have the advantages of convenience to be separated by magnet and friendliness to the environment, show good prospects in he determination of environmental contaminants. Therefore, to employ the functionalized magnetic naterials into the determination of environmental contaminants is vital to the improvement of inalysis techniques and the protection of human health.Contents:The preparation and characterization of functional magnetic materials(1) The preparation and characterization of ferroferric oxide magnetic nanoparticles.(2) The preparation and characterization of silica magnetic microspheres.(3) The preparation and characterization of PA 66 functional magnetic materials.(4) The preparation and characterization of amino functional magnetic materials. The establishment of BPA determination technology based on PA66 functional magnetic materials(1) The optimization of adsorption conditions.(2) The establishment of the BPA pretreatment method based on PA66 functional magnetic materials.(3) The determination of field samples with the established method.3. The application of amino functional magnetic materials in detecting environmental contaminants(1) The application of amino functional magnetic materials in detecting polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.(2) The application of amino functional magnetic materials in detecting heavy metal ions.1. The preparation and characterization of functional magnetic materials(1) The conditions of traditional chemical co-precipitation method were optimized; the ferroferric xide magnetic nanoparficles were characterized by TEM and XRD.(2) TEOS was reacted in alkaline solutions with ferroferric oxide magnetic nanoparticles; TEM ind XRD were applied in the characterization of synthetic silica magnetic microspheres.(3) The synthesized amino functional magnetic materials were characterized by TEM, XRD, and FT-IR.(4) PA66 was modified on the surfaces of Fe3O4@TEOS magnetic materials. Results were characterized by TEM, FT-IR.2. The establishment of BPA determination method based on PA66 functional magnetic naterials(1) The influences of pH, material consumption, adsorption time, elution conditions on the effects of the pretreatment of BPA were discussed.(2) Based on the optimized conditions, different concentrations of BPA standard solutions 0.2-200μg/L) were used to build a work curve for further use.(3) The materials were applied in the pretreatment of field samples. Sea water, river water, underground water, tap water and resource water were spiked at different levels (5,10,15μg/L). The ecoveries were used to evaluate the stability of this method in different aqueous matrixes.3. The application of amino functional magnetic materials in detecting environmental contaminants(1) 16 kinds of PAHs were pretreated with amino functional magnetic materials. The concentrations of PAHs in the eluents were finally determined by HPLC. (2) Samples were pretreated by amino functional magnetic materials, the concentrations of heavy metal ions in the residual solution were determined by atomic absorption spectrophotometer.1. The preparation and characterization of functional magnetic materials(1) Ferroferric oxide magnetic nanoparticles were successfully prepared, the diameters were about 15-20 nm.(2) The Fe3O4@TEOS was successfully synthesized; the diameters of Fe3O4@TEOS particles were about 300nm.(3) PA66 was successfully modified on the surfaces of Fe3O4@TEOS.(4) APTES was coated on the surface of the Fe3O4@TEOS microspheres.2. The establishment of BPA determination method based on PA66 functional magnetic materials(1) Based on the results, conditions were optimized.(2) Based on the optimized conditions, the determination method of BPA based on PA66 functional magnetic materials was established. The linear range was 0.20-100.00μg/L, and LOD was 0.05μg/L.(3) The materials were applied in the pretreatment of field samples. The recoveries were 88.54% to 104.46%. Experimental results confirmed that the material properties were stable and could be applied to general water matrixes.3. The application and characterization of amino functional magnetic materials in detecting PAHs and heavy metal ions(1) Seven kinds of PAHs (with condensed rings) used in the research were adsorbed by the material in different levels (61.0-79.0%).(2) The amino functional magnetic materials could adsorb Pb and Cd, the adsorption rates were above 90%.Fe3O4 magnetofluid, Fe3O4@TEOS, PA66 functional magnetic materials and amino functional magnetic materials were synthesized. The synthesis conditions were optimized. This study established a determination method of BPA based on PA66 functional magnetic materials, and successfully applied PA66 functional magnetic materials in the pretreatment of BPA in water samples. The amino functional magnetic materials were applied in the adsorption of PAHs and heavy metal ions. The synthetic functional magnetic materials have broader application prospects in the determination of environmental contaminants.
