Human activity continued environmental degradation, environmental problems making their own production, life has become increasingly prominent impact. Therefore, the development of environmental technology and related industries, the government has gradually taken seriously and the community, under the new environmental protection materials are such an environment and social background constantly emerged. The adsorption of environmental protection and industrial production as a commonly used method to remove impurities or contaminants its related technology research has been progress, therefore, research and development of new adsorbents has been overwhelming, but as attapulgite this cheap reserves development and rich mineral soil adsorbent has become a hot research scholars today.Research shows: Attapulgite is a large specific surface area, and its relatively large pore volume as a layered silicate structure, with kind of good adsorption properties and colloidal properties of the modified attapulgite be specific after the adsorbent can be made for a variety of different pollutants, such as alkali after, acid or heat treatment can be modified to increase the sorption of some inorganics such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and organic modified to increase its adsorption efficiency of organic matter, but the modified attapulgite mostly still powdery after adsorption of contaminants or impurities difficult part would precipitate suspended in water, not only detrimental to the recovery, but also for water turbidity caused affected.the organic grafted attapulgite can improve the loss of attapulgite powder when it does the adsorption, but it affects the adsorbing efficiency of attapulgite after grafted. In order to depress this influence, this article tries to do grafting experiments on attapulgite, and explore the phosphorus removal effect of different grafting process on grafted products. The result shows that when the quality of acrylamide, N,N’-methylene bisacrylamide, sodium bicarbonate and Modified attapulgite is in proportion of 0.7:0.04:1:1, and the application amount of absolute ethyl alcohol, 5%Potassium persulfate solution and water is5 m L、1m L and 7m L respectively, the rate of grafting attapulgite’s adsorbing and remove phosphorus can also reach 92%, which is 93.8% of that before grafted, and the adsorbingcapacity can reach 4.6mg/g. This experience proves that this grafting process is worthy of further and deepening research。After the adsorption of organic grafted attapulgite do water loss rate and the determination of COD, experimentally derived its loss rate can reach 0.2% or less, after further improve the process and its adsorption before washing with 0.3% hydrochloric acid COD residual water can be reduced to 10mg/L or less. The actual use of industrial production, in order to prevent a blender or severe hydraulic shock, graft product with a pore size of about 1mm×1mm nylon gauze wrap is applied to the liquid and then vote to ask adsorption, the experiments show that even in the relatively large hydraulic shocks, with gauze wrap organic grafted attapulgite can maintain its high adsorption efficiency without breaking, making recycling more convenient.
