In this paper the nanosized ZSM-5 were synthesized by a preset crystal seed-induced method without any organic templates. The structure and were characterizated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The nanosized ZSM-5 zeolite were carried out with aqueous solutions of hydrochloric acid, oxalic acid and critic acid, respectively. The effects of dealumination on the structure, acidity, and catalytic performance of nanosized ZSM-5 zeolite in the alkylation of naphthalene for synthesis of 2,6-DNM were investigated. And nanoscale ZSM-5 zeolite using n-butylamine as the template (SiO2/Al2O3=30) was treated in varying the NaOH solution concentration, operation temperature and the changes in structuraland acidic properties were investigated, which characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2-adsorption, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Py-IR. The results show that the nanoscale ZSM-5 zeolite was treated in NaOH solution had microporous structure and mesoporous structure at the same time. The mesoporous structure improved the diffusion of reactants and products and improved the naphthalene alkylation reaction activity and selectivity of 2,6 - DMN significantly.
