With our country’s development of the economy, the development of electric power production also made a spurt progress.But at the same time,the environmental pollution problem is increasingly serious.The main pollutant from the coal-fired power plant contains dust,sulfur dioxide,and nitrogen oxide.The State Environmental Protection Departments has clear rules on coal-fired power plant,it provide a pollutant emission standard,any enterprises are forbidden to violate. Hebi Fenghe power plant’s projects for dust removal and desulfurization were carried out, which has reached the national emission standards. At present, according to the relevant requirements,will carry out a project for nitrogen oxide.Power generation unit of 2× 600 MW is currently used in Feng He power plant of Hebi. First, the paper showed that how nitrous oxides from thermal power plant was generated and what the ultimate damage would be. Then, it elaborated the necessity of the research project to make denitration technology reform combined the stipulations of relevant laws, regulations and standards. Besides, the development of denitration technology at home and abroad was studied, at the same time, the dust denitration technology in power plants was analyzed. During the research phase, according to unit and fuel characteristics in Feng He power plant of Hebi, combined with a great deal of data analyzing of its discharge inlet flue gas parameters and existing technology, a set of mature and steady operation of denitration project was selected which was Selective Catalytic Reduction(SCR). After the scheme was chosen, the technology system and the main equipment was studied With an engineering example to analyze. In the later stages of the project, process performance of the system was tested and the main processing parameter of test object was mainly the emission of NOx concentration after processing. The result showed that emission concentration of NOx could meet its standard.The next part of this paper analyzed the practical operation of the denitration project after finishing the test. the actual operation data was emphatically investigated, including data monitoring and analysis of the stability of the denitration project after running for a long time. Besides, the practical problems in the process of operation was found and analyzed, such as the instability of the flue gas temperature Caused by unit load and the impact of catalyst of denitration equipment work. In the end, summary and improvement methods of the denitration technology was put forward, and it could be studied in the subsequent transformation.When this project is successful accomplished.It can reduce the nitrogen oxide concentration of emission.And accord with the national standard 100mg/m3.So it can avoid the punishment from the environmental protection department.And can get the subsidy from the government.Of course it is good for the air pollution control.
