Drilling rigs are the mechanical equipment that drilling underground by the drilling tools to get samples like rock and liquid for the exploration of underground geology and mineral resources, they play an role in the process of oil and gas exploration. With the development of petroleum industry, more drilling rigs have been used in the artificial island and coastal land. Affected by marine atmosphere and seawater splash, the load of oil rig decreases as well as its drilling capacity, the service life of the drilling accessories decreases and the repair costs increase every year.Different anti-corrosion methods and anticorrosive schemes that applied on drilling rigs were researched in this paper. By analysis different functions and characteristics of different regions of the coastal land petroleum drilling rig(ZJ90DB machine), different anti-corrosion schemes for offshore drilling rigs like cold zinc spraying were designed. The surface treatment and coating construction process were refined by control the film thickness and construction process to ensure the quality of equipment anti-corrosion ability.The method to delay corrosion used in oil drilling was developed in this paper. Different corrosion requirements were designed for different parts of drilling rigs to satisfy the environment of drilling. New repair scheme and repair processes were developed, the corrosion rate of the equipment decreases as well as the labor intensity of workers. This research can provide good reference for other offshore oil equipment’s anti-corrosion and will be widely applied.
