According to the features of gas reservoir in long deep region, we developed the indoor evaluation study of gas reservoir protection in long deep region. The adopted r esearch method was core analysis with low permeable igneous rock in fractured gas re servoir. The core analysis includes X ray diffraction, the casting lamella and scanning electron microscope. Through the core analysis results and data research situation, we determined that the main factor caused reservoir damage was water block, particle mi gration and stress sensitivity damage. We put forward the countermeasures of reservoi r protection technology. With the comparison of indoor experiment, we carried out the research of temporary blocking mechanism of fractured formation. We also did the m atching work between the diameter of bridging particle and effective flow width of fra ctures. The experiment data showed that the matching relation between them could be(0.5~1):1. When the concentration of bridging particle was 3%, we could achieve the better temporary blocking effect.
