We know that a homogeneous catalyst can speed up the reaction rate. But it is difficult to isolate the product after the reaction. It has undoubtedly increased the difficulty processing. Not only that, the catalyst can’t be recycled. This will result in waste of resources and environmental pollution and a series of issues. Heterogeneous catalyst, in particular, the emergence of mesoporous silica materials greatly improve the drawbacks of the homogeneous catalyst. They are easily separated from the product.It can be recycled as long as a simple centrifugation. Supported mesoporous material is far more than the top of these advantages. They also have a high thermal and mechanical stability. Synthesis methods and processes is simpe. Only one or more silicon source is provided under certain conditions copolymerization templating agent. The template is remmoved then materials are acquired. The catalyst is mostly based on a covalent bond material incorporated in the silicon. So that, the catalyst can be a very strong bond to the material. By centrifugation, the catalyst is separated from the reaction system. The catalyst remains bound to the material. So, the catalyst wil be recycled. There are a lot of surface active groups such as hydroxy. These reactive groups can be modified and heir characteristics can be changed. We can gain the desired function. Synthesized mesoporous materials, there is a specific morphology, regular mesopores, adjustable aperture and a special silicate cavities. There are specific confinement effect, this effect also enhance the enantiomeric stereoselectivity some reactions. Types of mesoporous silicon material lot, according to the silicon skeleton points, can be divided into inorganic skeleton, organic framework, organic-inorganic composite skeleton. In view of all aspects of the advantages of organic-inorganic composite skeleton, we use it to synthesize mesoporous silica ball supported ruthenium catalysts and mesoporous silica beads loaded metal iridium catalysts, and tested their activity.(1) Synthesis of mesoporous silica ball supported metal ruthenium catalyst and asymmetry catalysis research.Inorganic source of silicon TEOS and organic source of silicone copolymer, CTAC as template. Get Ts-DPEN functionalized mesoporous silica sphere. Then the metal ruthenium is added. Supported catalyst 1 is gained. Then the catalyst trys to catalyze β-ketosulfone. It showes considerable conversion rate and stereoselectivity enantiomers. Through a series of catalytic characterization, it proved that metal ruthenium is covalently way a strong bond to the material.(2) Synthesis of mesoporous silica beads loaded metal iridium catalyst and Asymmetry catalysis research. Inorganic source of silicon TEOS and organic source of silicone copolymer, CTAC as template. Get mercapto functionalized mesoporous silica sphere. Then after a few simple steps, we get supported catalyst 2 Through a series of catalyst characterization, we proved catalyst 2 is ionically bonded to the material. Catalyst 2 reducing the nitroalkenes compound, exhibits a high conversion rate.
