This project was to make use of nanoparticles silicone powder, POE and POE-g-MAH to strengthen and toughen PA6. In the experiment, by adding different types of silicone powder, we studied the mechanical properties of the system as well as the crystalline melting behavior of composites; Adding DCP, MAH and POE-g-MAH and other substances in different experiments, the experient discussed performance of composites under the different principles.The results illustrated that in silicone powder enhancement system, three different types of silicone powder had different effects on PA6. Among three different types silicone powder, silicone powder JY 100-01 had best influence on toughening PA6. DSC analysis stated that crystalline melting behavior of PA6/silicone powder composites were increased after adding silicone powder. Crystallinity of comparison: PA6/JY100-01> PA6/JY100-05> PA6/JY100-10. SEM analysis illustrated that JY100-01 modified by KH550 had better dispersion in PA6.When adding 20phr POE in PA6, the propertities did not have increased. When the content of DCP was 0.2 phr, the elongation at break and notched impact had different degree increased. According the one-stepped compatible principle, adding 0.1 phr DCP and 0.5phr MAH, the notched impact strength and the elongation at break reaches had the optimum value. When POE-g-MAH was mixed to compatitiy PA6/POE system, the ratio PA6/POE/POE-g-MAH was 80/10/10, the notched impact strength was 59.7kJ·m-2. Respectively, the strengtht was by 15 times of pure PA6. With the content of POE-g-MAH increasing, the notched impact strength increased slowly. The results showed that the optimum value of the size of the dispersed phase should be between 0.5~1μm. DSC results showed that elastomer addition lead to initial melting temperature, the beginning crystallization temperature increased, as well as the crystallinity of POE-g-MAH blends increased with the proportion increased.In three-phase blending system, when silicone powder was 5 phr, the properties of composite can reach an optimal value. Vicat softening temperature increased with the content of silicone powder. After the silicone powder was 3phr, the Vicat softening temperature increased slowly. Different mixing methods had different properties, the study showed that direct mixing method had the best performance.
