Ceria-zireonia supporter is one of the most important components in the three-way catalyst for elimination of exhaust gas, probably due to its oxygen storage and release capacity and unique redox property. Therefore, fundamental study on the Mn species on its surface is significant to design of effieient catalysts for NO reduction. This paper prepared of three carriers by precipitation, respectively, CeO2, ZrO2 and Ce0.67Zr0.33O2. Next we loaded 50% MnOx to the carriers, prepared three different carriers catalysts. Then 50% MnOx-Ce0.67Zr0.33O2 catalyst were produced by co-precipitation, impregnation and ethylene glycol methods. Three methods of preparation of the catalysts were considered in the activity of CO+NO reaction. Then this paper discussed the catalyst performance of the different mass ratio of the catalysts. The catalysts were analyzed by XRD, BET, H2-TPR, O2-TPD, NO-TPD and CO-TPD XPS and SEM characterization to discuss the nature. These results indicate that the incorporation of Mn3+ into the lattice of CeO2 can result in the decrease of crystallite size, the increase of lattice strain and the improvement of reduction behavior, which are beneficial to the enhancement of catalytic performance.Furthermore, Finally, co-precipitation method is the one step synthesis method, it is good to create more structure defects and strengthen the synergy between the active component and supporter, so it shows a better catalytic activity compared with the rest.
