In recent years, with the rapid development of the solar photovoltaic industry, Photovoltaic glass as a solar energy battery components is an important new type of accessory products, it also has been developing rapidly with the development of photovoltaic industry. Because of the study of glass forming started late, the situation of glass transferring heat is quite complex in the glass forming process, in general, it is very difficult to solve glass heat transfer. So, using the finite element method to simulate the forming process of glass researches the change rule of the glass temperature and microstructure, it provides the basis for further study of glass compressible and extensible forming process, and to improve production efficiency and product quality of the glass has important practical significance. In this paper, the glass compressible and extensible forming process is simulated and experimental study.First of all, this paper introduces the physical properties of the glass material and applies the basic theory and method of glass compressible and extensible forming numerical simulation process. The heat transfer problems in the process of glass forming have been analyzed. On considering the influence of temperature on the physical parameters in the photovoltaic glass compressible and extensible forming process.The article makes necessary hypothesis for some boundary conditions in glass forming. The numerical model of the glass compressible and extensible forming process is established on the basis of the hypothesis. At the same time, on the basis of DEFORM-3D software the data that in glass forming process is set to the corresponding boundary conditions. Through simulation,the distribution of velocity field and temperature field which in the molding process of glass can be obtained, simulate and analyze the change of the temperature field under the influence of the different heat. In the end, the change rule of the glass temperature during the compressible and extensible forming process is obtained.Secondly, on the basis of the theory of the glass nucleation and the range of the glass devitrification, the change process of microstructure in the forming process carried on simulation analyze by using the crystalline grain module of the DEFORM-3D,about the effect of cooling rate on the glass crystallization. It can well realize glass visualization of microstructure evolution by this method. it has the important guiding significance for the further study of glass internal concrete structure.Finally, using the testing tool to test the glass surface temperature in the process of forming, the simulation results are confirmed by experiment, in order to verify the correctness and rationality of imitating analysis of the heat conduction.
