Technology used in the non-ferrous metals refining industry at home and abroad, generally by hydrochloride or sulfate electrolyte electroplating. Among them, the hydrochloride electrolyte is the most widely used. Hydrochloride electrolyte contains a large number of Cl- will lose electronic into for chlorine gas at the anode in electrolytic process. The chlorine gas affects the quality of the electric metal deposition, harm frontline staff’s health, and will cause serious environmental pollution, but also because of processing costs and increase the cost of smelting non-ferrous metal. Non-ferrous metal smelting industry at home and abroad has the above disadvantages. Therefore, developing new electric product technology become a problem urgently to be solved in related industries.This test use of the advantages of ionic membrane electrolysis, and try to make the ionic membrane electrolysis technology apply in the field of metal refining, forming ionic membrane metal electrical product production recovery technology. This technology not only can reduce the discharge of chlorine gas, production of high quality metal deposition, and can produce hydrochloric acid for reuse, achieve the goal of resource replacement.In order to facilitate the collection and processing of chlorine gas, this test will anode, cation exchange membrane and anion exchange membrane integration device- membrane module, and the cathode aluminum reduction cell’s structure constitute the double membrane 3 rooms, anode material for titanium substrate iridium ruthenium semiconductor coating on the cathode for cobalt metal plate, the anode chamber into the dilute sulphuric acid, middle room ventilation with dilute hydrochloric acid, the cathode chamber ventilation with jinchuan company provide cobalt chloride electrolyte, ionic membrane metal electrical product recycling technology experiment.This experiment based on current efficiency and the electrolytic power consumption index, examines the cathodic current density and H2SO4 mass fraction, polar distance, temperature, concentration of cobalt ions in ionic membrane metal recycling technology in electric product production. Test shows that ionic membrane metal recycling technology in electric product production high current efficiency, electrolytic power consumption is low, the above various factors influence on electrolytic effect to some extent. With cathodic current density, pole spacing, temperature and concentration of cobalt ions, orthogonal experiment was carried out, it is concluded that:(1) Four factors impact on the current efficiency of the primary and secondary order: cathode current density > cobalt ion concentration > temperature > spacing;(2) In this experimental condition, ionic membrane metal recycling technology in electric product production operation parameters optimal combination: horizontal spacing of 6 cm, 42 ℃ temperature, current density of 170 A/m2, cobalt ion concentration of 144 g/L. Under the condition of the operation after 3 h, current efficiency 99.34%, the electrolytic power consumption of 3565.11 kW?h.After electrolytic,cathode plate is silvery white, the surface is flat concave hole, good quality, every room in the hydrochloric acid concentration increased from 0.5% to 0.74%, recycling hydrochloric acid.To provide the accurate operation parameters for the industrial application and design in accordance with the time, the pilot experiment was carried out. Through four stages of testing, the results show that:(1) Than traditional electric product process, the metal ion membrane electric product production recovery technology of high current efficiency, and save the cost of chlorine absorption process;(2) after running 120 hours, the middle room of hydrochloric acid concentration from the original 0.5% to 6.75%, can be extracted hydrochloric acid, used in ore atmospheric pressure acid leaching process;(3) a cost saving of chlorine absorption processing technology, and increase the value of hydrochloric acid recycling.Comprehensive comparison, the new technology than those of the conventional process with economic and technological superiority.
