As the micro-nano processing technology matures, modern micro-nano materials have shown great potential application value. The nano-scale structure materials have played a huge role in electronics, biology, chemistry, optics and mechanics fields. Porous Anodic Alumina (PAA) template is a kind of porous material with close-packed hexagonal array of parallel cylindrical nanopores structure. Because of the PAA membrane’s simple production process, highly controllable and orderly nanopore arrays, excellent physicochemical property, so it has a very broad application prospect. The PAA membrane can be used as a ideal template material to make different nanostructure of nanodots, nanowires, nanopillar through filling the metal, metal oxide or polymer into the nanopores.This paper expounds the basic properties of the PAA, summarizes the preparation methods of highly ordered PAA, analyzes the PAA’s research situation and the application value in various fields at home and abroad. The structure model and the growth mechanism of PAA are introduced in detail. Through studying the theoretical model, the reason of PAA nanopore forming and the basic chemical reactions of anodic oxidation process are explained in our thesis.A transparent double-sided PAA membrane with ultra-thin aluminum substrate is fabricated with the three-step anodic oxidation method in the oxalic acid electrolyte. By measuring and counting experiment data, the curve correlating the thickness of ultra-thin aluminum substrate inside the double-sided PAA membrane with the third-step oxidation time is fitted. It indicates the relationship between the anodic oxidation rate of the double-sided PAA membrane and the third step oxidation time when the aluminum substrate was vanished almost. At last, curved surface PAA membranes with different diameter are fabricated, and the factors which affect the morphology of curved surface PAA are researched.By using different PAA templates and different replication materials(PMMA, PDMS), high-molecular polymer nanopillar Arrays Structure with different surface morphology are fabricated. The morphology of the high-molecular polymer membranes with nanopillar Arrays structure are observed by FE-SEM. The wettability of PDMS membranes with different nano-structure are characterized by Contact Angle Apparatus.
