It is becoming a hot topic to the combination of microbial wastewater treatment process technology under the guidance of energy saving and low-carbon life policies.There are constantly to achieve new breakthroughs for a combination of microbial wastewater treatment process technologies with experience in science and technology development and human practice.The purpose of the study is the comprehensive treatment and utilize of xylitol wastewater to some enterprises in Tangshan city Hebei province.In this research, xylitol starch wastewater was treated by "Up-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket Reactor (UASB)-A2/O process. The rapid start-up and sludge granulation in the UASB was investigated and the performance of organic contaminants and ammonia removal in A2/O process was evaluated. The technical and economic analysis of the whole treatment process was also carried out based on production process、water quantity and water quality. It puts forward reasonable design parameters and technical and economic comparison by similar to the comparison process astewater.There are good for the class is recommended wastewater treatment process and operating parameters through long-term practice of observation.The main findings of this article are as follows:wastewater treatment design size12000m3/d, water CODcr4000mg/L, BOD52500mg/L, pH value of2-3, NH3-N100mg/L, SS400mg/L. The main treatment structures UASB volume load18.5kgCOD/m3·d. Treated effluent CODcr was100mg/L, BOD530mg/L, pH values of6-9, NH3-N15mg/L. Achieved 《Integrated wastewater discharge standard》(GB8978-1996) a standard. Meet the design requirements.Upflow anaerobic sludge blanket(UASB)used in this paper and A2/O combined process of high concentrations of xylitol production waste, recycling and biogas, room for wind power generation, operating cost savings, and national development consistent with the requirements of circular economy, with reference to such a high concentration of wastewater treatment.
