ZnCo2O4 as a new type of direct band gap p-type semiconductor materials, has been widely used in battery electrodes, super capacitor, etc, and its potential in the field of photocatalytic degradation of waste water pollution has not been reported and applied, as that its narrow band gap, easy preparation, environmentally friendly. Taking ZnCo2O4 as the research object,The photocatalyst was prepared by changing the preparation conditions, ratio of reactants and surface deposition of silver halide compound, through the simulation of pollutants degradation of reactive brilliant blue to examine the performance of the composite photocatalyst. The main research includes:(1) The preparation and photocatalytic performance of ZnCo2O4 photocatalyst.ZnCo2O4 photocatalyst was prepared in hydrothermal- calcination method with cobalt acetate and zinc acetate as zinc and cobalt. The results showed that the morphology of ZnCo2O4 was slice, part of slice assembly into a sphere. It was investigated for hydrothermal conditions(time, temperature) and heat treatment conditions(time, temperature) which affect ZnCo2O4 photocatalyst morphology and performance. When the hydrothermal time is 20 h, temperature is 140 ℃, calcination time is 4 h,temperature is 450 ℃. The phtodegradation rate for KN-R was 58%.(2) The preparation of ZnO/ZnCo2O4 composite photocatalyst and its photocatalytic performance:The preparation of ZnO/ZnCo2O4 composite photocatalyst was through changing the ratio of zinc and cobalt sources, its morphology also a sphere with needle-like particle growing on the surface. It was investigated for different source of zinc content of preparation to the photoelectric performance of ZnO/ZnCo2O4 composite photocatalyst:when the source of zinc content and the proportion of the cobalt content in 1.5, the photocatalyst has the best photocatalytic activity, the reach for reactive brilliant blue decolorization rata can reach 70%.(3) The preparation of Ag/Ag Br/ZnCo2O4 composite photocatalyst and its photocatalytic performance:With the optimal preparation conditions of ZnCo2O4 as the template to induce the surface deposition of Ag/Ag Br to constitute Ag/AgBr/ZnCo2O4 composite photocatalyst. It was investigated for different AgNO3 content to the photoelectric performance of Ag/AgBr/ZnCo2O4 composite photocatalyst: When the AgNO3 relative content was 15%, the photocatalyst has the best photocatalytic activity, the reach for reactive brilliant blue decolorization rata can reach 90%,under the condition of visible light.
