In this paper, a series of hydroxyl basic ionic liquid was prepared, such as two(or single) alkyl two(or one) hydroxyethyl ammonium hydroxide,Four hydroxyethyl ammonium hydroxide and hydroxide lakyl hydroxyethyl or 2 hydroxyethyl imidazole. Application of FT-IR,HNMR of functionalized ionic liquids have been characterized, determine their composition and structure. Looked at these functionalized ionic liquids of methanol and CO2 activation and converted into DMC catalytic properties,.Discusses the different composition and structure of the performance of ionic liquid catalytic methanol and CO2, determines the functionalization of alkali ionic liquid hydrogen and oxygen BzMDH is a kind of effective catalytic of methanol and CO2 for synthesis to DMC.It exhibited excellent catalytic performance with raised conversion(1.5%) and high selectivity(99.7%) to DMC at 3 MPa and 140 °C for 3 h.. And the catalyst through repeated use can be more than three times. Experiment results also exhibited that the functionalized ionic liquids containing multiple hydroxyls were negative to DMC formation due to the stronger hydrogen-bonding action limited the intermediate deadsorbing and leaving from the catalyst.Raised the reaction mechanism of the hydroxyl-functionalized ionic liquid for actication and conversion of CO2 and methanol.In addition, in the reseached of methanol and CO2 in the direct synhnesis of DMC in the process, Also founded ionic liquid of dimethoxy methane has high catalytic activity, Finally,by studying, determine the ionic liquid BmimOH is a kind of effective catalysts for this reaction. Basic ionic liquid BmimOH was found to be more active for conversion(2.42%) of carbon dioxide and methanol into DMM(2.06%)with raised conversion and high selectivity(85%) at 3 MPa on 6h and 150 °C. And according to the report in the literature and experimental research about the reaction mechanism of the experiment.
