With the advance of China’s modernization, China’s environmental situation is turning bad day by day. The discharge of industrial sewage and domestic sewage are important factors which influent the urban environment and the life of residents. Our country has many ways to deal with the sewage, but in town it usually uses different ways according to the actual situation.In this paper, we contrast and analysis the treated and untreated sewage in different seasons in Urban area of Shuo Zhou, Shanxi province with the CAST (Cyclic Activated Sludge System) process. This process has an apparent effect in dealing with CODcr, BOD5, SS, ammonia nitrogen and phosphorus. The removal efficiency are 86.2%,92.2%,95.8%,72%,70.7%.Analysis also shows that sewage changes a lot in different seasons before treatment and changes a little after treatment. For example, the standard deviation of CODcr before treatment is 63.6, but it is 8.7 after treatment; The standard deviation of BOD5 before treatment is 40.27, but it is 4.05 after treatment.In this paper, the results of the study are helpful for optimizing our country sewage treatment process and made certain contribution to the urban environment protection.
