| Aquaculture wastewater is currently one of the major causes of non-point source pollution in the vast rural areas, which is easy to bring long-term, irreversible effects to the natural environment due to its high concentration of ammonia and nitrogen, total phosphorus, organic and suspended solids. Many experts and scholars were dedicated to the study of disposing aquaculture wastewater and came up with many alternative techniques, but they can just purify most of the ammonia and nitrogen, total phosphorus, organic and suspended solids in aquaculture wastewater through primary or secondary disposing process. Therefore, if you would like to achieve higher requirements on wastewater’s emission, it is necessary to further follow up disposing, and constructed wetlands disposal system is one of the best post-processing techniques. This study conducts the research on the aspects of plant growth in sewage, plant stain resistance and plant decontamination effect according to the requirements of constructed wetland to plants, combines with the regional distribution of plants in the south of Hunan province, and selects the reeds, water spinach and water hyacinth. Thus, this study analyzes artificial configuration’s five groups of aquaculture wastewater disposing effect on the three plants and plant mix through testing, and comes to the following findings:(1) the rates of applying the three water plants and their combination to remove ammonia and nitrogen, total phosphorus and the needed chemical oxygen in poultry raising sewage are between 42% to 76.5%, 58% to 91.25% and 43.75% to 87.25% respectively.(2) By analyzing the disposal efficiency of each single plant, water hyacinth tends to be the most efficient, water spinach the less and reeds the least; while plants combinated, the combination of reeds with water hyacinth is more efficient than the combination of Reeds with water spinach and any kind of combination is better than single plant. |
