At present, in order to solve the problem of the full polished glaze about pinhole and the surface not wear-resisting, in this paper, we explore the impact the change of all the content in the glazed ceramic oxide on the full polished glazed ceramic glaze quality, and then we get the best glaze formula. First of all, the billet and bottom glaze of this experiment, we just use the factory’s. After a large number of relevant literature and exploratory experiments, we get the basic glaze formula F, and make a comparison about the glaze quality of fundamental formula F that one is polished and the other one is not polished, then we concluded that the polishing process on the quality of the full polished glaze. Then on the basis of the formula F, we use orthogonal experiment method to get the best formula G. On the basis of the optimization formula G, we discuss Si/Al ratio, important flux CaO、K2O、Na2O、ZnO content on the properties of the glazed ceramic glaze, At last we use the gloss meter, micro vickers hardness tester and glaze wear-resisting machine to test glaze glossiness, hardness and wear resistance, and used linear dilatometer and SEM to test the samples and make a characterization.During the all experiments, the optimization of the formula is:SiO2 is 54.6%, Al2O3 is 21.9%, Fe2O3 is 0.2%, CaO is 8.6%, MgO is 3.0%, K2O is 6.8%, Na2O is 2.3%, ZnO is 4.6%. The glaze quality is:smooth, flat, no water ripple, less pinhole, glossiness is 102.5, micro vickers hardness is 615.3 HV0.5, wear resistance level is 2100 r, grade 4, first melting point is 1025.1℃.The conclusion of experiments:After polishing, the glazed ceramic glaze roughness and glossiness have greatly increased, but the glaze wear-resisting performance declined. When the Si/Al ratio is 4.2, the glaze glossiness, glaze hardness and abrasion resistance performance is good. When Si/Al ratio is below 4.2, the glaze glossiness began to decline, pinhole become more. So in order to make good full glaze with high gloss, good abrasion resistance and high hardness, the Si/Al ratio must have a proper scope; In a certain range CaO、K2O、Na2O、ZnO can improve the glaze glossiness and CaO can do some effect to the glaze hardness; More K2O+Na2O will reduce the glaze hardness. Alkali metal and alkaline earth metals can improve the performance of the full polished glaze, but alkali’s helping fusion effect is better than that of alkaline earth metal, the appearance of pinhole has much relation with the melting point of full polished glaze, the melting point of full polished glaze should be higher than that of the oxidation decomposition temperature of the billet and bottom glaze.In this experimental research, we expound some glaze oxides on the quality of the full polished glaze, and can make some guidance to the practical production.
